Ryan is a highly creative and engaged director from Wicklow.

He attended The National Film School, IADT and graduated in 2020 with Honours with a major in screenwriting and minor in direction. “POST/LOVE”, a graduation film he co-wrote, went on to screen in DICFF, Fastnet Film Festival, CAMERAimage, CIFF, KIFF and NFFTY where it was awarded the Audience Award.

After graduation, he began work on “The Last Duel” (dir. Ridley Scott) and continued to work within the Irish Film and Television industry in a range of narrative and unscripted productions.

With a love of Irish storytelling and a desire to explore the cerebral element of the human condition, Ryan looks to weave between the internal and external self through vivid, symbolic imagery that the viewer can relate to.

With a heavy involvement in music, he has collaborated with many rising Irish bands since 2021, with names such as NERVES, CABL, Bucket, BBFT, Bold Love, Scustin, Naked Lungs, The Love Buzz and Tung in Cheek. Ryan crafts engaging narrative videos, promotional content and live sessions alike.
